The "Nigger" Album Title Change

So I hear that Nas is no longer calling his album Nigger and has officially titled the album "Nas." I really thought that Nas was gonna ride that shit out until he got out of his contract, but I guess I was wrong. I thought he was about to lead the revolution towards fuck these record labels, But I was wrong. However, I am not dissapointed. I knew for sure that they were not going to let Nas put out a CD using a racial slur as the title. Black people call eachother Nigga all the time, True Indeed. But white people and other ethnicities understand that the word is offensive if used in a dirogatory fashion towards a black man. We give meaning to these words, and they are used to keep us seperate. Check out my blog about the "N Word" to read more about it. But in our current time some shit like Nas was about to do would never make it out of the boardroom! One thing is for sure. We need to make up our minds about how we are going to use this "N Word" and stick to it, before cultures outside of our own make the decision for us.
